We had a wonderful time celebrating this year's 11 remarkable scholarship recipients and AHS Spanish Teacher, Ms. Sandra Saavedra! The students' speeches were so heartfelt, and the Folklórico Club performance was mesmerizing.
Thank you to all of our supporters who come out year after year to celebrate the recipients and contribute to our efforts so we can all impact future generations. Thanks you to Ms. Jaramillo for such sincere and funny welcome remarks, and to the AUSD Board Members for their support. We are so appreciative of all AUSD personnel present dinner after dinner, especially Ms. Díaz-Ferguson (we love the pictures of our dinner on your website!), Ms. Pérez and Mr. DeVaughn for sharing so many interesting details about your students' trajectory and how deserving they are of the scholarship.
Thanks to our incredible community for all of the donations which immensely contribute to the success of our dinner.
