Youth Ambassadors Program

ALA is looking for students who would like to develop their community engagement, marketing and fundraising skills while learning from a diverse board made up of educators, local civic leaders, media professionals and business owners.
Our Youth Ambassadors will have the opportunity to volunteer in events including, but not limited to, upcoming cultural events around the city and at AUSD campuses, festivals, fundraisers, and banquets
 among others.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as an Ambassador for ALA in your school and the community
- Engage with local youth, parents, and community leaders
- Support Board Members to set up/break down supplies during events
- Attend Board Meeting when possible (virtually, on the first Wednesday of every month)
 
Requirements:
- Must be an 11th or 12th grader at an Alhambra Unified School District high school
- Be available on some weekends to coordinate events
- Have an interest in Latinx culture
- Fill out the 2025-2026 Interest Form by September 19, 2025
